We are Hampsten Cycles, LLC, founded in 1999 by Andy and Steve Hampsten. We design and collaborate with the best bicycle framebuilders in America. We bring you our unique line of custom road frames and whole bikes and we do it with the highest possible level of personal service.

Andy and Steve are available to guide you through the process of fitting the bike, selecting a frame and components, and adjusting your position on the bike. We guarantee a beautifully designed, perfectly built Hampsten Cycles bicycle or frame, tailored to your exact needs and delivered to your door.

Excellence of construction, comfort and durability are our hallmarks in each frame material: steel, titanium, carbon, or aluminum.

Steel:
The newest member of our out-sourced little family is Independent Fabrication, a company who’s immaculate welding and stunning paint we have long admired. Great folks these and working out of Somerville, MA, IF will be meeting our lightweight welded steel frame needs.

Titanium:
Kent Eriksen
Kent Eriksen – founder of Moots and all ‘round good pal – is now making frames under his own name. Kent builds our Strada Bianca and Tournesol titanium frames.

Titanium:Moots
Chris, Mike, Brad, Caleb, Jon, David and the rest of the crew at Moots Cycles in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, build some of the finest titanium frames in the world - including our Gran Paradiso Titanio.

Carbon:
Parlee
Bob Parlee and his dedicated staff at Parlee Cycles construct each of our carbon frames with meticulous attention to technical and aesthetic detail. Bob has many years of working in carbon fiber and structural analysis and his bikes truly ride like no other.

Aluminum:

Co-Motion Cycles
builds and paints our aluminum frames, both Gran Paradiso and Tournesol Leger. Dan, Dwan, and the whole gang have been building strong and elegant tandems and single bikes since 1988.
